Inside Salesperson/Account Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

Follows up on proposals written by System Design Specialists with two purposes – quality assurance and closure of the sale. Provides tactical support to other departments as needed. Supports the company’s management, purpose, mission, and values.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Follows up with customers by telephone for the purposes of ensuring quality and selling previously unsold proposals.
Keeps customer files updated, complete, and accurate.
Meets or exceeds sales goals.
Performs a variety of administrative tasks to support other departments of the company from time to time including taking meeting minutes, scheduling leads, scheduling annual maintenances, and so on.
Provides customers with a remarkable experience.
Regular, reliable on-site attendance.

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS

Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
Skill in operating a personal computer and programs.
Skill in verbal communication.
Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English.
Bilingual is a plus.
Ability to handle a variety of tasks.
Ability to perform accurate data entry.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED preferred;
1+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field; or,
A combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.

Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects. Job involves maintaining a stationary position most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if moving about is required only occasionally.
