Helical Tension Anchors

Helical Anchors, or tiebacks, provide stability to foundation walls and retaining walls with unbalanced earth pressures and require minimal excavation. Helical Anchors can be installed in all weather and where access may be limited, making sure that construction or repair can continue without delaying your project’s goals. Our team is also able to immediately test the effectiveness. Helical anchors are a convenient and cost-effective solution for many projects.

Helical Piers

Helical piers or piles are steel foundation systems consisting of a central shaft with one helix-shaped bearing plate welded to the lead section that helps pull the pier into the soil during installation, and serves as an anchor as the weight of the foundation or structure is transferred to the pier. Our helical pier system is effective and versatile for stabilizing and restoring foundations and masonry elements like brick, limestone (often found in the Texas Hill Country), and adobe in new and existing construction.

Push Pier Systems

Our push pier system utilizes high-strength steel tubes and a load transfer bracket (retrofit foundation repair bracket) to stabilize and/or lift sinking or settling foundations. The foundation bracket is secured to the existing footing, and pier sections are driven hydraulically through the foundation bracket and into the soil below using the combined structural weight and any contributory soil load as resistance. Pier sections are continuously driven until a suitable load-bearing stratum is encountered, causing the structure to lift or reach equilibrium.

Crawl Space Jacks

The SmartJack® is a support system for crawl spaces with sagging beams and floors that have weakened over time due to high moisture and rot. It can also be used to support columns where an existing column or pier foundation has settled. The SmartJack® can support up to 30,000 pounds and has been tested to ensure that the system meets industry and national standards, and is a permanent fix for your business or infrastructure.

New Construction

New construction foundation support using piers can be installed to protect a building or home from settling, or worse, sinkholes. Our Texas new construction pier installation experts are most often called in when soil conditions are suspect.
